CMM´s President Ms. Jayamma has been awarded the M. A. Thomas National Human Rights Award 2014. Honorable Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Council and Government of Andhra Pradesh has handed over the Award of Citation and Cash Prize in a Public Meeting Organized by Vigil India Movement at the Center for International Program (CIP), Osmania University, Hyderabad, on the 20th September 2014 in the presence of several VIPs from Judiciary, Government bodys, Faith based Organizations, NGOs, CBOs and Well-wishers.
The CMM Family sincerely expresses its gratitude to Vigil India Movement for selecting Ms. Bandari Jayamma for this prestigious award and making her and her organization to be more and more responsible in the coming days. CMM's President, Ms. Jayamma Bandari, received the "Mother Teresa Shiromani Award " for her outstanding achievements rendered for the welfare of vulnerable women and children - presented by Indian Solidarity Council in Association with International Institute of Education and Management in New Delhi (Venue: The Indian Society of International Law, Krishna Menon Bhawan, Opp. Supreme Court, N.Delhi) by the hands of Dr. Bishma Narain Singh, former governor of Tamil Nadu and ex-central minister of Justice O.P. Verma, ex-chief of justice, Kerala and former governor Punjab; Dr. G. V. G. Krishna Murthy, former election commissioner of India and other VIPs.

CMM had the chance to share its work with Srilankan high profile police officers on their study tour facilitated by UNAIDS to observe HIV interventions. It was undertaken by law enforcement as well as their engagement with key populations in India.
